REQUESTING CANCELLATION OF COUNTY TAXES ON REAL PROPERTY
ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES

ViEEREAS, the real property situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of
California, described as follows:
Account N. 70 - 185 - 25
Code Area N. 21000
Assessed Owner: Alameda Amusement •o., Inc.
has been assessed heretofore for County purposes for the fiscal year 1966-1967, and taxes levied
thereon (1st and 2nd installments) in the sum of $901.42 are uncollected. and unpaid, except the sum
heretofore paid of $322,98, leaving a net sum of 5578.44 uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, after the time said assessment and taxes became a lien cn said real property, it
was, by Grant Deed recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County on November 9,
1966, on Reel 1870, image 426, Serial No. AY127493, aCquired, and ever since has been and now is
owned by the City of Alameda, and has been and now is being used for public purposes, and because of
such public ownership is not subject to sale for delinquent taxes;
NOW TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that. the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Alameda be, and it is hereby requested to make its order, and to take
such ,,,,further proceedings as may be necessary, to cause all uncollected taxes, assessments, penalties
or costs charged or levied for County purposes upon the aforesaid parcel of real property, to be
cancelled; and that a record of such cancellation be made by the officer or officers having custody
of the record thereof, In accordance with the provisions of Section 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation
Code of the State of California.
1E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk forward four (4) certified copies of this
Resolution forthwith to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda,
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
6th day of December, 1966, by the following vote, Lo wiL:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., Mcall, Rose and PresIdeut Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT None.
