CANCELLING CITY TAXES ON PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE tiTY OF
ALAMEDA FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES (NORTHEAST CORNER PARK STREET
AND 'INA:, AVENUE
WHEREAS, the following described real property, located in the City of Alameda. County of
Alameda, State of California:
(1) Tax Mill No, 4119, 1966-1967, Assessor's Block 141/22, S. 20 ft. Lot D Block 5,
N. 40 ft. Lot C Block 6, Alameda Park Homestead (Alameda Amusement Co., Inc.); and
(2) Tax Bill No. 4120, 1966-1967, Assessor's Block 141/23, E. Park St. 511.54 ft., S.
Central Ave. S. 60 ft., E. 165.46 ft., N. 120 ft., W. 20 ft., S. 60 ft., W.
145.46 ft. to Beginning, Alameda Park Homestead (Alameda Amusement Co., Inc.); and
(3)
Tax Bill No. 4121, 1966-1967 Assessor's Block No, 141724, W. 125.92 ft. Lot C,
Block 7, W. 125.92 ft, Lot D, Block 7, Alameda Park Homestead (Gracc A. Smith,
Martha Anita Jenkins, Sara Wanda Brooks),
have been assessed heretofore for City purposes for the fiscal year 1966-1967, and taxes levied
thereon in the coral sum of 9644.28 are uncollected and unpaid, except the sum heretofore paid of
5230.82, leaving a net sum of 5413.46 uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS. after the time said taxes or assessments became e lien on said real property,
the respective parcels (1) and (2) by grant deed recorded in the office of the County Recorder of
Alameda County or November 9, 1966, . on Reel 1870, Image 426, Serial No. AY 127493; and (3) by
grant deed recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County on November 9, 1966, on
Reel 1870, Image 430, Serial No. AY 127494, acquired, and ever since have been and now are Owned
by the City of Alameda, and have been and now are being used for public purposes, and because of
such public ownership are not subject to sale for delinquent taxes;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LIT Y OF ALAMEDA, with the written
Consent of the City Attorney attached hereto, that ail uncollected [axes charged or levied for City
purposes upon the aforesaid real property, together with penalties and costs thereon, be, and the
same are hereby, cancelled, and the Auditor and the Tax Collector of the City of Alameda are hereby
authorized and dtrecred to cancel the same on their respective books.

1, Frederick M. Cunningham, City Attorney of the City of Alameda, State of California, do
hereby Consent tn the cancellation of any and all uncollected taxes and assessments and penalties
and costs thereon, charged or levied for City purposes upon the parcels of real property described
in the within Resolution.
