CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 7072
ADOPT:NG SPECIFICATIONS, SFECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS TO FIRE STATION NO. 3, CALLING
FOR BIDS A 11 DEEC1NG CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WiEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Spetifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the additions and alterations to Fire Station N. 3, located at Faciflo Avenue and Grand Street,
No. PW 10-56-28, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on Dezember 20. 1966;
NOW THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED DY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Spa. Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified In said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby 'authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the GounCil of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids
an to the hour of 11:00 o'clotk a.m. on FRIDAY, JANUARY 6, 1967, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to,
in accordance with said Spetificatines and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked en the outside, 'Pro-
posal for Additions and Alterations to Fire Station No. 3", or similar designation-
Cantreet, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the previsions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who acbmits the lowest and best hid, The right is
reserved to rejegt any or ell bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions mey be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office An the City Hall, Alameda, California,
The Cite Clerk is hereby' directed to advertise, in the Alameda '8 111, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the prey :aims of this resolution and of raid Specifications
and Provisions.
