CITY OF ALkMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 7104
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO TEE CITY
OF ALAMEDA FOUR (4) NEW, LATEST MODEL FOUR-DOOR
SEDANS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR BIDS
AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL UF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda four (4) new, latest model four-
door sedans, for the Police Department, No. M5 3-67-4, filed in the office of the
City Clerk on March 7, 1967, be, end the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 11:oo o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, MARCH 28, 1967, for the
furnishing to the City of said automobiles, in accordance with said Specifications
and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked en the outside, "Proposal. for four
(4) new, latest model four-door Sedans", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed tc advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Prwrisions.
I, the uniersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of March, 1967, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, Lo Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and
President Godfrey, (5).
NGHS: None.
ABSENT: None.
