ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND RICANS FOR
CULVERT RECONSTRUCTION ON GRAND SZEFET AT DAyTaki AvENuE AND
AT PAIETRA COURT, CALLIND FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CUBE
TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WEEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provinions and Plans for
culvert reconstruction on Grand Street at Dayton Avenue and at Palmera Court, numbered PW 2-67-6
and filed in the offioe of the City Clerk on April 4, 4967;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CIFY GE ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Speccations, Special. Provieions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same
are hereby' approved and adopted-
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion. of the work specified in said
Specificatinns and Provisions be, and the same is hnreby authorized.
BF IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 10- of the City of Alameda will receive sealed. bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m- on FRIDAY, APRIL 21, .0.'67, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, ('31030 s, machineryh tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Culvert Reconotruction on Grand Street at Dayton Avenue and at Palmera Court,' or
similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
reaerved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Pfnviscions may be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at hio office in the City Hall, Alameda, Caldfornia.
Ehe City Clerk is 1-03 5 irected to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, accordance eitn the proviainns of this resolution and of said Specifinations
and Provieions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of' the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
4th day of April, 1967, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councihnen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
