ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECiAL PROVISIONS AND FLANS FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PUNEN STATION AND SANITARY SEWER AT
EASI' SHORE DRIVE AND NMNIERS AMENDS, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
D1RECYINN CITY CIERS TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the construdtion of a pump station and aanitary sewer at East Shure Drive and, Meyers Avenue, numbered
PW 5-67-13, and filed in the office of the City- Clerk on May 16, 1967;
NOW "NRIEFORD, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
S ecifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted-
BE IN' FURTHER RESOLVED that the performanoe and completion of the work specified En said
ecifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, the Council of the City- of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of ln.:00 slciock 12. 1. on FRIDAY, EASY 26, 19E7, for furnishing to the City- of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment, necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, ih. accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, 'Proposal 0: 11
Construction of a Pump Station and Sanitary Sewer at East Shore Drive and Meyers Avenue", or similmsc
desienation.
Contraat, if awarded, will be awarded. subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the, responsible biddor who submits the lowest and best bid. Ihe right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on mp1:11'-tion to
the City Engineer, at him offioe in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
'She City Clmach is hereby ddrected to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisimns of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was stuly and regularly'
introduced and adopted by- the Council of the City of Alameda, in regular meeting asseMbled. on the
