ADOPT= SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL movisioNs AND HAPS FOR
IANITORIAI SERVICE FOR THE CITY nALL AND LIBRARIES, CALLING
FOR BIDS AND DIRKTING CITY IL= TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifinations, Special Provisions and Plans for
janitorial service for the City Hall and. Libraries, numbered PIM 5-0-17 and filed in the off= of
the City Clerk on May 16, 1967;
NEW =REBORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisiano and Plans, numbered and filed as mforesaidi, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion. of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the sanm is hereby authorimed.
BE IT FLUAIHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed. bids
up to the hour of 11u00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 26, 1967, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifigations and Provisions. Bids must be pImsented to the City Clerk,
En the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on. the outside, fPro-
posal for janitorial Service for the City Hall and Libraries", or similar designation.
Contract, awarded, 01 be awarded subject to the provisions of' the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lmmmst and. best bid, The right is
reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifioatians and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a not= call-

and Provisions.
