ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR RESURFACINE OF PORTIONS GE GIBBONS DRIVE, EVERETT
STREET AND PEACH STREET, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECT-
ING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS the City Engineer has prepared Specificatioos'., Special Provisions
and Plans for resurfacing of portions of Gibbons Drive, Everett Street ane Peach
Street, No. r.w. 6-67-20, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on June O, 1967;
NOW THEREFORE, ED IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, on the same are hereby approved and adopted.
EE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance end completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to thE hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. or FRIDAY, JUNE 23, 1967, for furnish-
ing to the City of all labor, materials, machinry, tools and equipment necessary for
the work bereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions.
Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover end plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Resurfacing of Portions
of Gibbons Drive, Everett btreet and Peach Street", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will, be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right lo reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on
application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the hlameda Times-Star, a
notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 6th day of June, 1967, by the following vote, to wit;
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, Ls Croix, Jr., Levy, Rose and President
McCall, (5).
NOES; None.
ABSENT: None.
