WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the construotfun of a Traffic Island on Encinal Avenue at High Street, numbered DM .6-62-11, and
JEled in the office of the City Clerk on june 20, 1967;
NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY DBE COUNCIL OF THN CITY OF KLAN:FDA. that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Flans, numbered and filed aa aforeaaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
BE iT RESOLVED tnat the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same iS hereby authorized.
2E IT EURTHEN RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of lif00 &clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JUI2 7, 1967, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
matefRals, rabhfhery, tools and equipment necessary' for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with saiN 0031'l 10101, 011001 1010/00101 Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the pity
Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and. plainly marked on the outside, Proposal for the
Construction of a Traffic toland on 01 ,100% Avenue 0101 10131 Street", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City-
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may- be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the CIty Engineer, at hik office in the City Hall, Alamhea, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bidd, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specificiationo
and Provisions.
Is the undersigned, hereby certdfy that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regttlar meeting assembled on the
