APPROVING ADD ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE BUDGET OF THE CITY
OF ALANEDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1967-1968.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to and filed with this Council] a tentative budget repre-
senting a financial plan for conducting tha affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year 1967-
1962, said budget being entitlbd, "Recannended Budget -- City- of Alameda -- California -- 1D67-
1E68," and being filed with the City Clbrk of the City of Alameda as of June 20, 1G67: and
FFIELEAS, the Council of the City of Alameda has fully examined said tNntativb budget and
hereby finds that said tentative financial plan, as amended, is in the best interests of the City
of Alameda;
BOW, THEREFORE, B 0VF 1 THE COUNCIL OF TI CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council
hereby adopts and approves said tentative budget in the amount of $6,264,155, subject to final
approval in September, 1G67, as required by SectA0n 15j-n, of the Charter of the City of Alameda.
BE II FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mity Manager of the City of A:lambda and the Auditor of
saiG City are hereby authorized and directed to follow the precepts of the said tentative budget
in the interim period prior to adoption and approval of the final 123112 123 the fiscal year 1967-
lOaD by this Council in September, 1967.
