WEEMS, the City Engineer has prepared Specificatdona, Special Provisions and Plans for
pavement repair and resurfacing on San Jose Avenue from Grand Street to High Street, No. P. 0.
8-67-26, and Med In the offioe of the City Clerk on August 1, 1967;
NOU THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
S ecifications, Special Previsions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted_
LE IT' RUMMER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specificatiuns and Provisions be and the same ia hereby authorised.
B E 1 1 0 URTHER RESOLVED that the Council. 01 11. City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hpum of 12:00 ooLluck a.m. 0 0 5 RIDAY, AUGUST 25, 1967, for 0-' 1501" to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the .so 'k hereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said Opecificatdbris and Provisinns. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in
the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked en the ontside,"Proposal
for Pavement Repair and Resurfacing on San Jose Avenue from Grand Street to High Street," or similar
designatinn.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provons of the Chanter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lewest and best bid- The right is
reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at hMs office in the City- Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bide, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and. of said Specifications
and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Counoil of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
