APPROVING AND ADOPTING A BUDGED FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1967-
1968; APPROPRIATING CERTAIN MONEYS FOR THE EXPENDITURES
PROVIDED IN SAID BUDGET FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR AND DATIFYING
CERTAIN EXPENDITURES HERETOFORE MADE.
NUEREAS, there has been submitted to and filed Rath this Council, at this meeting, a budget
representing a financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year
beginning JUDy 1, 1.967, and ending June HO, 19 budget is marked, "Filed with the City Clerk
in open meeting of the City' Council, September 5, 1967":
NOW, THEREFORE, BE Id' RESOLVED BY THE 31: 10 OF THE CITY OF 31 3± that said budget as
subpdtted to thjt Council at this meeting, and each and 0103 0001 thereof, be, and the same is
hereby, approved and adopted as the budget for the City of Alameda for the fiscal year 1967-1968,
and that the expenditures of the various sums of money therein provided to be spent for salaries
and wages, maintenance and operation, and. capital outlay, by each department as therein listed in
detail, are hereby approved and authorized in total, by the above object Classification, as the
appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1968.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, there be, and are hereby, appropriated for the fiscal year
1967-1968, the specified. sums for the purpose of meeting the cost of 00 '1- and wages paid officers
and employees, the cost of maintenance, operation, and for equipment and other capital outlay of the
respective departments, divEcions, offices and boards of the Citvm and for all other purposes desig-
nated in said budget for the respective purposes of the said departments, divisions, offices and
boards of the Cityx and for such special funds and or purposes designated 11 said budget; and
BE iT FURTEER RESOLVED that all of the appropriations herein provided for are made out of
the General. Fund for the fiscal yoar 1967-1948, except, those made to or for purposes for which spe-
cial funds are established, and as to such last mentioned purposes said appropriations are made out
of the special funds respectively established therefor,
BE IT FURIEER RESOLVED that such expenditures as may have been made by the several depart-
ments, divisions, officee and boards of the City after the beginning of the fiscal year 1967-196,8
and prior to the adpption of this resolutien, and have been or may be duly approved by the City Audi-
tor, are hereby ratified, confirmed and approved, and shall. be respectively charged against the
appropriations herein and in said 'budget provided for.
