ORDERING DISSOLUTION Oh REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF' THE CITY OF
ALAKEDA, PURSUANT TO SECTION 331E1, HEALDi AND SAFETY CODE
OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 104 New Series, enacted August 4, 1964, and effective October. 1,
196M, this Council made appropriate findings and declared that there was no further need for the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Alameda to function ot to exercise any powers in the community;
and
WHEREAS, by virtue of said legislation the offices of said Agency- members were vacated
and said Agency's authority to transact business or exercise any' powers was suspended, all pursuant
to Section 11140 of the 'Health and Safety Code of California; and
WHEREAS, said Agency does not, nor did it ever, have any outstanding indebtedness; and
IaglEAS, each member of' said Agency, to wit, Marshall. S. Pease, Chester R. BattalAni,
Sidney A. Haag, James A, Wiley, jr., and Joseph. T. Barry, has filed with this Council his separate
written consent, copies of each of which are attached hereto, that said Agency shall be dissolved
by order of this Council, 01 accordance with Section 33141 of said healtn and Safety Code; and
WHEREAS, this Council finds that said written consents have been duly executed and that
the signatures contained thereon are the true and correct signatures of the said Ago 22 members;
and
HEREAS, the federal government, in order to terminate said Agency's Social Service agree-
ment, covering employeeo of' said Agency, with tne State Employees Retirement System, has requested
formal dissolution of said Agency under said Section 33141, and it is in the best punlip interest
to or such dissolution,
NOV, THEREFORE, DE IT .13/12. 10 DIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the dissolution
of the Redevelopment Agency of the City- of Alameda is hereby ordered, it being expressly found and
determined (1) that said Agency has no outstanding bonded, indebtedness, and (2) that, the unanimous
written consent of' the members of said Agency has been heretofore obtained.
