RESOLUTION OH AWARD OF CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, the it Council of the City of Alameda, Alameda County California, did, on the
19th day of September, 1967, order the improvements to be made in Assersment District I. 67-1, City
of Alameda, Alameda County, California, as described in the Resolution o intention, as mended, for
said assessment district; and
WHEREAS, by resolution adopted on the 15th day of August, 9.967, it was directed that bids
be called for the doing of said improvement work, and that the time fixed for receiving sealed bids
or proposals wps the 7th day of September,. 1967, at the hour of 11:00 (Betook A.M. of said day; and
WHEREAS, Notice Inviting Sealed Bide nas duly published in the time and manner reguixed by
L,; and
WHEREAS, all bids having been publioly opened, axamlned and declared pertaining to the
doing of the work and imbrovements described in the Resolution of Intention, as amended, which said
Resolution of Intention, as amended, is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work
and improvaments and for all other particulars relative to the proceedings under said Resolution of
Intention, as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda, Alameda
Countp, California, hereby rejects all of said prop0 sal6 or bide, except that herein mentioned, and
hereby awards the contract for raid Dmprcvements to the lugest responsible bidd6r, to wet:
O. C. JONES & BONS, a partnership,
at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in the offioe of the City Clerk of the City
of Alameda; and
IT TS HEREBY DIRECTED that the City- Clerk of the City of Almneda cublish a Notice of Award.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and. adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting asseMbled on the
3rd day- of October, 1967, by- the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, Fore, La Croix, Jr., Levy and President McCall, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
