WHEREAS, the City Engineer haa prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
culvert construction on Oak Street at Times Nay, No. P. W. 11-67-88, and filed in the office of the
City Clerk on November 21, 1967;
HOW THEREFORE BE IT PESOS= EY THE CEDUCIL OF THE CITY OF 00. 0. that the said Speci-
fications, Specia) Provisions and Plana, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted-

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Covmoil of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on YRIDAY, DECENBER 8, 0. . for furniehing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabeve referred. to, in
accordance with said Shecifioations and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hail, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly- marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Culvert Constructdon on Oak Street at Times ha yd, or similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subjeot to the provisions of the Charter of the City-
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid_ Ihe right is reserved to
reject any or all
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective biddur on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the Cfty Nall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby- directed to advertioe, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice eall-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provioiuns of this resolutipn and of said Specifications
and. Provdsions.
