DRIVE TO SAN JOSE AVENUE, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
CITY CIERK TO ADVERTISE SAYE.
WHEREAS, the City Engireer haa prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
pavement repair and resurfacing of Nigh Street frua Otis Drive to San Jose Avenue, No. ',EWE 2-68-3,
and filed in the office of the City Clerk on February 6, 1968;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT 311, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITA OF ALAMEDA that the said. Sp
fications, STmcial Provislons and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RE IT FUF1TER RESOINED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized-
BE IT FdRIEER -RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids
ap to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 1868, for furnishing to the City 0<'
all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment 0<00 0' for the work hereinabove referred to,
in. accordance with said Specifinations and Provisions. Bias must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameaa, California, under sealed cover ane plainly marked on the outside, "Pro-
posal for Pavement Repair and Resurfacing of High Street fran Otla Drive to San Jose Avenue", or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, mill. be awarded subject to the provisions of the Chatter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible biader who 10. <1 the lowest and best bia. The rigtt la reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had 13 y. any prospective bidder on applivation to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, AlameCa, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alakeda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the 04 10 of this resolutivm and of said Specifications
and. Provisions.
