ADOPTING, SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
WIDENING AND RECONSIHUCTION CF BUENA VISTA AVENUE BEIMEN
POGGI SITEET AND WEBSTER STREET, CALLING FOR BITS ART
DIRECTING CITY CIERK TO ATVERIESE SAXE.
WHEREAS, the Citk- Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
widening and reconstruction of Buena Vista Avenue between Poggi Street and Webster Street, No, P.36
2-68-5, end filed in the office of the City 21mr1- on February 20, 1N68.;
NOW THEREINTE, BE II' RESOLVED BY FRE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALMMEDA that the said Speei
fdeations, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopeed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorised.
BE IT FURPREP, RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receiwo sealed bids, up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MARCH 8, 1968, for furnishing to the City- of all labor,
materials, maohinery, tools and equipment necessary- for the work hereinabowe referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Prowlsions. Bids enst be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
widening and recrmstruction of' Buena. Vista Avenue between Poggi Street and Webster Streetf,
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the 01V1 ±18 of' the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserwed to
reject any or ail. bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall Alameda, California.
The City- Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda. Times-Stan, a. notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and. of' saib S ecifications
and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
