RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF aliE CIAR OF AIAMAIA IN MEMORIAM
TO CONRAD ROTE.
Wiln HEAP:CREME SIMPAIIRi, the Council of the City of Alameda records the death of one of
its former Councilmen and a most interested and civic—minded citinyin, CONRAD ROTH.
WHEREAS, Mr. Rath had been elected to the City Council and had. been inducted into offioe
on April 21, 1913, and had served the City conscientiously and well until April 17, 1918; and
WHEESAS„ ME. Roth had been elected President c the Council on January 2, 191AL and. had.
served in this capacity until the expiration of his term of office; and

and had promoted the development of the City during its early gimaith and had aloe participated in
hie Church and Fraternal promims.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Alameda, in recognition of
NHL RothLf civic concern through the years and Lis friendliness with all of his associates, does
hereby axpress its sense of personal loss and its dapreciatibc1 for his service. to tho City.
BE IT THISTEIES. RESOLVED that this resolution be spread fn full upon thE minutes of this meet-
ing and a. copy thereof be cent te tho family of Mr. Roth in ordor to extend to its members a sincere
expression of condolence in their bereavement,
El IT FURTHER RIEOLVED that when this meeting of the Council of the City of ADaneds. adjourns,
