taxes levied theneon in the smas of $6,177.28 and $6,681..08, respectively, are unoollected and
unpaid; and
WHEREAS, alter the time sadd taxes became a. lien on said real property, it was, by Grant
Deed, recorded on August 10, 1966, Recorder's No, AY 52477, in the office of the County Recorder of
Alameda, County, acquired, and ever since hat; been and now is owned by the United States of Amerioa,
to be used for publdo purposes, and because of sunh publio ownership is not subject to sale for
delinquent taxes;
NOW THEREFORE, HE TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, with the written con-
sent of the CILy Attorney attaohed hereto, that all uncollected taxes charged or levied for city'
purposcs upon the aforesaid real property, together with penalties and costs thereon, be, and the
same are hereby, cancelled, and the auditor and. the tax collector of tho City- of Alameda are hereby
authorized and directed to cancel the same an their respective books.
I, the Frederick M. Cunningham, City Attorney- of the City- of Alameda. State of California,
do hereby consent to the cancellation of any and all uncollected ,oh, , and
'0,, :3 and costs thereon, charged or levied for City purposes upon the parcel of real propenty
described In the within Resolblabh.
