ADOPTING GRIBBE:ICA:IONS, SPECIAL PECNISIONG AND PLANS FOR
RESURFACING AND MINOR REDA= OF VARIOUS STREETS, CALLING
FOR BIRO AND DIBBCRING CiTY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Upecial Provisions and Plans for
the resurfacing and minor repairs of various streets, No. P. W. 4-68-7, and filed in the offioe of
the City Clerk on April 2, 1968;
NOW THEREFORE, BE Il' RESOLVED BY TIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OD' ALAMEDA. that the said Speci-
fications, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approvad and adopted_
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and combletion of the work specified in said
Specifioations and Provisions be and the same is hereby authoriwed.
BE IT FURTHER FESOIIIER that the Council. of the Citm of Alameda HETI receive sealed bids
UP to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, ARRII, 26, s 1, for furnishimg to the City- of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, an
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids most be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hail, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and pRainly marked on the outsiAe, 'Proposal for
the resurfacing and minor repairs of various streets', or similar designation.
Contract, Lf awarded, will be awarded subject to the 113 I183 of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The rEght is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said. Spetifications and Frovioichs may be had. by ary prospectime bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at hie office in the City Fall, Alameda, California-
