ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONB AND PLANS FOR
PATEMENT REPAIR AND RESITNAGING CAR PEACII SIRE= FROM
WASHINGTON STREET TO SAN JOSE AVENUE, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITI CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepamed Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the pavement repair and reaurfackng on Peach Street from Washington Street to San Jose Avenue, No.
P. W. A-68-8, and filed :in the office of the City Clerk on April 2, 19.68;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL Oh 1RE CIT1 OF ALAMEDA t the said Speci-
finatiens, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and thn saii are hereby approved and. adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completiGn of the wrack specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be and thn same is hereby anthorimed.
BE 11 FURYHER RECOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda. mill receive sealnd bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, APRIL 26, 196B, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materiain, machinery, tools and equipment necessary- for the work hereinabove referred. to, in
accordance with oaid Specifications and Provdsions. Bids must be presented. to the City Clerk, in
the City Nall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and pladhly nark0 d. on the outside, "Proposal
for pavement repair end resurfacing on Peach Street from Wanhington Street to San Jose Avenue", or
similar designation.
Contract, if' awarded, wild be nwareed subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City- of Alameda, to the 10 '13 bidder who submits the ibwest and bezt bbd. The right is
reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specilications and Provisions nay be had by any prospective bidder on application. to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hail, Alameda, California.
The City. Clerk 1 6 hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and. Provisicns.
