BE IT RESCUED BY 'DIE COUNCIL OF IRE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor be and hereby le
authorized to execute on behalf of the City- an agreement with the State of California, acting through
the Division of Highwas of its Departnert of Public Works, providing for joint participatipn in the
sharing of costs and other things La the modifidation of existing traffic control signal systems at
the intersections of State Highway R.oute 61 (Encinal Avenue) with Chestnut arn Grand Streets, and
at the intersectichns of Statu Highway' Route 260 (Webster Street) with Central, Santa Clara, Lincoln
and Buena Vista Avenues, all within said City, and. the City Clerk is diTected to attest to said
execution, said agreement to be substantially in the form of that on filo in the office of the City
Clerk and marked, 'Tiled, April 2, 1968.0
