JUKE 30, 1969, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY ;KLERK TO
ADVERTISE SANE.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prenared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
REPAIR. OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK, DRIVEWAY, CURB AND GUTTER for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1969, numbered FBI 5-68-11 and flied wEth the City Clerk on Nay 7, '1968.; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer haz prepared Specifications, Special Provieions and Plans for
the 51.100' '10. OF MOUSE LATERALS from the street, laterals to the property line, and other work
appurtenant thereto, for the flecall year ending enine 30, 1969, nurCherd PM 5-68-12 and filed with
the City Clerk on May 7, 1968; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
MINOR STREET PATCHING WITH ASPHALT CONCRETE for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, numbered PT;
5-6S-13 and filed t"' the City Clerk on May 7, 1.968;
NOW THEREFORE, FE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OE' THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plana, numbered and filed es aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adppted-
BE IT FURRIER RESOLVED that the derfernance and comdietion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized_
DE IT FIRMER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda wdll reeeive sealed bids up
to the hoar of 11:00 sIclock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 24, 1968, for the furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials and equipment necessary for said work, for the flocal year endihg June 30, 1969, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions individually prepared therefor. Bids must be pre-
sented to the City Clerk, in the City hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and dlainIy
marked. on the outside with the designation of the fiscal year work to which said bid applies.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Chants". of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the Lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject

Said Specificatinns ahn Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on appliaation. to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.

ing for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution. and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
