WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specificatibns, Special Provisions and Plans for
pavement repair and resurfacing of Park Street from San Oese Avenue to Buena Vista Avenue, No. PEI
5-68-14, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 7, 1968;
NOW THAPEPORE, BE IT RESOLYED EY 1HE CONN= OF THE CITE OF Ai:AWE:DA that. the said Speci-
fications, Special Previgiors and Flans, bo, and the same are hereby asprovod and adopted.
BE FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authcrigod.
RE 11' 13 '01 RESOLVED that the CRuncil of' the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 o,clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 24, 1968, for furnishing to the City of all.. labor,
materials, machinery, toole and equipment necessary for the work hereinabovo referred to, in accord
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. BKds mast be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Hail, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked. on the outside, "Proposal_ for Pave-
ment Repair and Resurfacing of Park Street from San Jose Avenue to Buena Vista Avenue", or similar
designation.
Contract, awarded, wi3 l. be awarded. subject to the provisions of the Chaster of the "Pity
of Alameda, to tne responsible bidder Who sUbmits the lowest and best bin. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bide.
Said Specifications and Provisions may' be had. by any prospective bidAer on applibation to
the City Engineer, at his offine in the City Fall, Alameda, California.
Ihe City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifioations
and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and. adopted by the Council of the City' of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
7th day of May, 1968, by the folipwing vote, to wit:
