WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plane for
as "B" Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix for the fiscal year ending dune 30, P969, numbered
MS 5-6.8-1G and filed with the City Clerk on May 7, 1968;

Eh II' FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and. compleiMon of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby autheribed.
DE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of' Alameda 41 ll. receive sealed bids up
to the hour of L1:00 elciock a.m. on IKIDAY, MAI 41, 1968, for the furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials and equipment necessary for said work, for the fiscal year ending Lune 30, 1969,
in acoordance with said Specifications and Provisions individually prepamed. therefor. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in. the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked on the outside with the designation of the fiscal year work to whiCh said bid applies.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of' the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bin. The right is reserved to reject
any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by- any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby dimected to advertise, in the Alameda Times—Star, a notice call.—
ing for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of thfs resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
I, the ungersigned, hereby certify tnat the foregoing Resolution was dbly and regularlT
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
