JANITORIAL SERVICE FOR TILE CITY HELL AND LIBRARIES, CALLING

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Shpcifications, Special ProvisiEns and Plans for
janitorial service for the City Hall and Libraries, numbered PM 5-68-1L and filod in the office of
the City Clerk on. May 21, 1968;
NOW THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY IRE COINCII, OF IIRd OP. ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
S ecifloatiena, Special Provisions and Flans, nuMbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
31. IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work. specified in said
Specificationa and Provisions be and the same is hereby. authorihed_
BE Id FURTHER RESOIVEL that the Council of the City of Alameda. will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 1968, for furnishing to the '1.,, of ail labor,
materials, machineryu tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Rids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly' marked on the outside, ',Proposal for Jani-
torial '30'' 2) for the City Hall and Libraries," or sigdiar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best, bid- The right is reserved to
reject any or all bide.
Said Specifications and Previsions may be had by any prospective bidder on applioetion to
the, City Engineer, at bib offioe in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk: is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda 11 '0 a. notice calling
for sealed Pi's, in accordance pdth the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.
