ADOPTING SPECIFICATICIAS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLAYAS FOR
PAVING AT WASHINGTON PARK TETEERBALL MET AND BLEACHER AREA,
CAUSING FOR BIDS AND RITECTINO CITY CLERK TO ARVERTISE SAME.
DEAREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifidations, Special Provisions and Plans for
paving at Washinston Park tetherball court and bleacher area, No. PW 6-68-1V, f:Red in the office of
the City Clerk on May 21, 1.9168;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the sedd boecifi-
catihns, Special. Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approvhd and. adopted_
BE if FURIAIER RESOLVED that the performance and. completion of the work spec:lined in said
S ecifications and Provisions be and the same 1 ' eby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 1.1r00 olciock a.m. on FRIDAY, TUNE 7, 1968, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary fur the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Ball, Alameda, California, ender sealed cover and pl05 Go d on the outsitle, "Proposal for Paying
a shinto ark," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of' the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and beet bid. THe right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engirieer, at his offide in the City Hail, Alameda, California.
The City- Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda 0'- 07, a notice call-
ing for sealed RDAs, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specificatihns
and Provisions.
