WHEREAS, the Ciky Englueer haa prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and. Plans for
the furnishing and erecting of elhyated bleachers at Washingtun Park and at Lincoln Bark, No. Pki
6-68-18, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on June 5, 1968;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 3.1 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said. Speci-
fications, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted_
BE IT' FURRIER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorised.
BE IT FURTHER RESCUED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 caclock a.m. on THUBSDAYl JdNE •3, 1968, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred. to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
all, Alameda, California, under sealed colas- and plainly marked en the outside, "Proposal for
Elevated Bleachers at Washington and (3 11 Parks," or simi)ar designation_
Contract, IC awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and. best bid. The right TioO reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said. Specifications and. Provisions may be, had by' any prospective bidder OE application to
the City Engineer at his office in the City Hail, Alameda, Californfa.

ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of thia resolution and of said Specifications
and. Provisions.
