REQUAOTING CANCELLATION OP' COUNTY TAXES ON RiaL PROPERTY
ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR. MUNICIPAL PURPOSES
(WOOD, SCHMIDT, GRAVATT - TRIANGULAR PARCEL OE LARD AT TEE
INTERSECTION OF MARKET STREET WITH OTIS DRIVE)
WHEREAS, the real property situated the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of
California, described as follows:
Account ho. 69-18-2-1B
Code Area No. - 21000
has been assessed heretofore for Cotnty purposes for the fiscad. yearg 1966-A968 and iv67-'96s, and
taxes levied thereon are uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, after the time said assessment and taxes became a lien or. said real property, it
was, by Grant Deed recorded in the office of' the County Recorder of Alameda County. on June 2, 1.966,
on Fiel 1880, Images 211, 212 and 213, Serial No. AY 68620, acquired, and ever since has been and now
is owned by the City of Alameda, and has been and now le being used for publio purposes and because
of such public ownership is not subject to sale for delinquent taxes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIE COUNCIL OF' MN 6 1 OF AIAMEDA that the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Alameda be, and it ie hereby requested to rake its order, and to take
such further proceedings as may- be necessary) to cause all uncollected taxes, assessments, penalties
or costs charged. or levied for County purposes upon the aforegaie, parcel of real. propertyp to be
cancelled; and that a record of such cancellation be made by the officer or officers having custody
of the record thereof, in accordance with the provisions of Section L°6 of the Revenue and Taxation
Code of the State of California.
HE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk forpard four (4) certified copies of this Reso-
lution forthwith to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda.

introduced and adhpted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting asserblee on the
5th dy of June 1968, by the following vote, to wit:
