AUTHORIZING IKE EXECUTION OF' A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES OF A
CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT FOR TEE FISCAL LEAR 1968-1NON.
WHEREAS, Section Lf-T(c) of the Charter of the City of Alameda requires the designation of
a certified oublac accountant to investigate and audit accounts of the City, etc.; and
WHEREAS, a, proposed contract for the fiscal year 1N68-1WhiN with the firm of Eacitlemnn,
Larzelere, McKenna & von Naschnitz, Certified Public Acoountants, has been submitted to the Council
and the Council is fully informed and aware bf the terms and conditiens thereof, said contract being
filed with the City Clerk and marked ed June 18, 1968u"
NOW, ILEREYORE, BN IT RESCUES BK. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAINIFDA that the Wayor of the
City of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of
Alameda that-certain contract referred to above by and between the City- and the firm of hackleman,
Larzelere, McKenna & von Kaschnits for cered public accounting services for the fiscal year
1968-1969. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to samoy
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution has duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
lath day of' june, 1968, by the following vote, tc wit:
