APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE BUDGET OF' THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1968-1969
ETEREAC, there has been submitted to and filed with this Council a tentatiye budget
representing a financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fibcal
year 1968-1W69, 1 budget being entitled, "Recamnended Nudget--City of Alameda--California--
196S-1964, and being filed with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda as of guile 18, 1968: and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda has fully examined said tentative budget
and hereby finds that said tentative financial plan, as amended, is in the best interests of the
City of Alameda:
NOW, THEREFORE, RE TT REBOTEEB 81 lidE COUNCIL SF ThE OF ALAMEDA that said Council
hereby. adopts and approves said tentative budget in the amount of $6,627,925 subject to final
approval in September, 1968, as required. by Sectimn 1V-4 of the Charter of the City of Alameda.
BE 11' IRIPER RESUMES that the City Manager of the City of Alameda anc the Auditor of
said Oity are hereby authoribed and directed tb folicm the precects uf the said tentative budget
in the interim period prior to adoption ana approval of the final 'budget for the fiscal year 1968,-
969 by this Council in SepteElmsm 1968.
