AVENUE AND CHESTNUT STREET, CALLING FUR BIDS AND DIRECTING

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifitations, Special Provisions and Plans for
construction of arch culverts at the intersection of Alameda. Akenue and Chestnut Street, No. P. W.
7-68-20, and filed. in the offine of the City Clerk on lully 16, DE68;
NOW THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED BE IRE MINGLE OF THE CITY' OF ALAMEDA that the said Speci-
ications, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and. adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOIXED that the performahee and completion of the work specified in said
8 ecificatibns and Proyisjers be and the sene ik hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER PESO:ITER that the Council of the City. of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. or. FRIDAY, JULY 26, 1868, fer furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, to and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. RiUs must be presented to the City- Clerk, in
the City- Hall, Alameda, GaliTornia, under sealed cover and plainly' marked on the outside, "Proposal
for Cmlvert Construction. at Alameda Akenue aud. Chestnut Street", or similmr designation-
Contrant, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of' the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bins.
Sand Snecificattiuns and Provisions may- be had by any prospective bidder on application
