ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOP.
WIDENING 3 HIGH STREET HERTEN FERNSIDE BOULEVARD AND MARINA
DRIVE, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRFOTINO CITY CLERK TO ADVERlISE

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the widening of High Stf.et between Fernside Boulevard and Marina Drive, We. P.M. 8-68-21, and filed
in the office of the City Clerk on August 6, 1968;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHUNG:IL OF IMF, CHIA OF ALAMEDA that the said Speci-
fications, Special Provisions and Plans, be„ and the same are hereby approved, and adopted.
FR IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performande and comtlktio0 . of the work specified. in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
BF IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda bill receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o,clock a.m. on FRIDAY, AUGUST 23, 1968, for furnishing to the City of
all labor, materiale, machinery, tools and equipment necessary. for the work honeinabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifirations and. Provisions. 'Bids ddist be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alaneda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Pro-
posal for Widening of High Street Between Ferrside Boulevard and Mariro, Drive", or sinilar
designation.
OontfEst, if awarded, will be awarded subject, to the provisions of the Charter of the
City uf Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
rescrved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by. any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, 01 ',01
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda limes-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed. bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

introduced and 1, dopted. by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
