RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA IN MEMORIAM
TO CHESTER R. EARTALIN1
WITH HEARTFELT GRIEF, the Council of the City of Alameda, records the death of one of its
most concerned and civic-minded citizens, CHESTER R. BARU:MAL
WHEREAB, Mr. Sartalini had participated most effectively in several community programs -
specifically, having been a member of the Recreation Commission, the Redevelopment Agency- of the City
of Alameda and having served on certain Citizens Advisory Comnittees, In. all of these aotigities,
his keer . business sense and experience had been ihvaluaMie assets on behalf of the best interests of
the carmunityd and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bartalini had also brought distinction and recognition to himself and the City
by his leadership in many tOelds of service at the State level. 01 "01 his sincere spirit of
humanitarianism on behalf of youth nad greatly aided in the growth of' the Girls Club and the Boys
Club of Alameda; and
WHEREAS. Mr. Bartalinlls personal influence for good and his friendship will be seroly
missed by all of his associntes.
NOW, ThEREYORE, BE IT BESOTTED that the Council of the City of Alan :Edo dubs hereby- acknow-
ledge with genuine appreciation the many years of noteworthy sergise rendered by Mx. Bartaliui in
so many areas of public interest ar.11 . does alss express its sense of personal loss at the passing of
this fine man.
