PAVEMENT REPAIR AND RESURFACING OF PORTIONS OF FERNSIDE
CCIUTVARD, PEARL STREET TO HITT STREET, CALLING EHR BIDS
AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK 10 ADVERTISE; SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifihatdens, Special Provisions and Plans for
pavement repair and resurfacing of' portions of Pernside Boulevard, Pear) Street to High Street, No.
P. W. 9-68-22, and fided in the office of the City. Clerk on Sertember 3, 196g;
HOW THEREFORE, BE HI RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CIVY OF ALANEDA that the said Speci-
fications, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby. approved and adopted.
RE II' FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Proviaiens be mud the same ie hereby authorized_
RE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED thRt the Council of the City of Alameda, will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 cdclock on FRIDAY, SEPIEHRER 20, 1068, for furriehing to the City of
all labor, materials, machinery, toole and epuipment necessary for the work hereinaboye referred td,
in. accordance with said Specifications and Provisiens. Bids must be presented co the City- Clerk, in
the City Hail, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly, marked on the outside, "Proposal
for Pavement Repair and. Resurfacing of Portions of Fernaide Boulevard, Pearl Street to High Street,"
or similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, will. be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, tb the responsible biRder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved. to
reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had. by. any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call.-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
