DECLARING Iviamylm TO PROUIBIBM BY ORDINANCE, THE USE OF
CERTAIN CITY STREETS BY ANI VElttLE EXCEEDING MAXIMUM GROSS
WEIGHT OF THREE TONS; SETTING DATE OR HEARING THEREON BY
CITY COUNCIL, AND DIRECTING- PUBLEAATION OF NOTICE OF SAID
HEARING, PURSUANT To ARTICLE 4, CHAPTER 5, REVISION 15,
VEHICLE CODE OF THE 'STATE OF CALIFBRNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF 'IRE CITY OF ALAMEDA that it intends to entert an ordinance
prohibiting the USQ by any and. all vehicles whose maximum gross weight exceeds three tons on the
following public streets in the City of Alameda:
(1) rallena Boulevard, for its entire length;
(2) Bayview Drive, for its entire 11 44441
(5) Broadway, from Otis Drive to Shore Bine Drtve;
(L) Deena Vista Avenue, from Poggi Street to Webster Street;
(5) Central Avenue, from Enceral Avenue to East Shore Drive;
(6) CiXrton Avenue, from Grand Street to Far treet;
(7) County Road, for its entire length;
(2) East Shore Drive, '4 11 Central Avenue to Enc1nal Avenue;
(9) Eighth Street, from Baena Vista Avenue to Westline Drive;
(10) hncinal Avenue, from Broadway to East Shomb Drive;
(L1) Everett Street, for its entire length;
(12) Fernside Boulevard, from Versailles Avenue to 100 feet south of Encinal Avenue;
(13) FMfth Street, for ite entire length;
(14) Fir Avenue, for its entire length;
(15) Fitchburg Avenue, from Maitland Drive to Magnolia Drive;
(16) Franciscan Way, for its entire length;
(17) Gibbons Drive, for its entire length;
(12) Grand Street, from Buena Vista Avenue to Shofd Line Dri_Ve;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Ines:day, December 3, 1968, as the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m.,
in the Council Chambers located ia the 61v Hall, is hereby- set as the time and place this Council

BE IT FURTIMR RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause notice of stab hear-

Vehicle Code or the State of California, being a part of Art. La Ch. 5, 15 of said Code.
