Resolution 07397CLEW OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NG. 7397 APPROVING AlREIMENT WITH ALAMEDA HOSPITAL FOR FURNISHING OR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF FAG= THEREFOR; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SAID AGRI:MEET ON BEHALF OF CITY WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined to he desirable and in the public interest that the City-operated First Aid Station be replaced .14/' a facility- which will provide approved emergency medical servioes to persons injured within the City and to its residents who suffer sudden injury 02 illness; and WEEBEAS, Alameda Hospital, a California nonprofit corporation, presently operates a general hospital within the City, and is willing to conetruct and operate in connection. therewith an approved emergency- medical facility in which such services shall be provided; and WHEREAS a form of an agreement between the City and said Hospital, by Which said facility will be constructed and operated, has been prepared, submitted to thib Council and is on file in the 31'f 10 of the Cdty Clerk of the City- of Alameda, marked, "filed, October 22, 1968;" and. WHEREAS, this Counci. is aware of the contents thereof and of all of the terms, conditions and. covhnants contained in such agreement, and finds it to be in the best public interest that the City enter into said contract with the Alameda Hospital; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OE THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. that the certain agreement between the City. of Alameda and the Alameda Hospital, a California nonprofit corporation, hereinabove in the recitals designated and referihd to, which agreement contemplates the construc- tion and 0, 101 by saih.
