WHEREAS, thn City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special. Provisions
and Plans for additions and alterations to the Ahimal Shelter, DO. P.W. 12-68-2E,
and filed ih the office of the City Clerk on Debember 3, 1968;
NOW THFIRLFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALPMEDA that
the said Sperifibations, Special Provisions end Flans, he, and the same are hereby
approved arb abopted.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performanhe and complbtion of thb work
specified in said Specifications ard Provisions be end the seine is hereby authoriped.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council. of the City. of Alameda. will receive
seale1 . bids up to the hour of 11:GB o'clock a.m.. on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 22, 1968, for
furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and eulent
necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordabhe with. seld Snbccations
and Provisions. Bids. mu ht be presented to the City. Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda,
California, undbr sealed cover and plainly markeb on. thb outside, "Proposal for
Additions and Alterations to the Animal :Shelter," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, wiGi be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City. of' Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest

application to the City Engineer, et his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
