BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEN GIRD: OF ATAaWDA that purauant to the provisions of
Article X of the Charter of the City- of Alameda, and upon nomination of tlie Mayor, JAMES L. NOLEN
is hereby appointed to the office of member of the Board of Education of the City of Alameda for a
term cannenoing January 2, 19E9, to fill the unexpired term of Tack O. Lubbock, resigned, and, to
serve until a successor is qualified in accordance with applicable law, at which time said term for
whioh he is herein appointed shall_ terminate.
