APPROVING AIM ADOPISING MODIFICATIONS TO SELCOT SYSTEM OF
CITY STREETS
WHERRAB, the City Council, pursuant to Resolution "`Co. 6E12, adopted September 3, 1963, and
Resolution No. 70S8, adopted October 4, 1966, approved and adopted a certain map entitled, ',Map of
Select System ef City Ctreets and Highways, City of Alameda, California,,, along Hith an accompanying
report of the City Engineer entitled, ',Select System Report, Citcy of Alameda, October Ili 1966,f which
report was submitted to the Califbrnia NigEwag Coumdesion; and.
WHEREAS, in aucordance with the Streete and Highways Code of Califcrnia and in order that
the City of Alameda may obtain matching credits thereby, it is necessary- and desirable that the City
99 31 , 3 4 ' fy its said Select_ System of City Streets, said modificatien to consist of addition cf streets
not presently on the System, deletion of streets no longer needed on the-System and changes within
the System made necessagy by construction and street dedications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF' THE CiTY OF' ALAMEDA that the certmEn map
dated January, 1969, and entitled fMap of Select System o City Streets and highways, City of
Alameda, CalHfornia (Select System Modi(ioatien)," and the accompanying "Select System Rnport, City
of Alwmeda," of the same date, which have been prepared for consideration of the California Highway
Commission, copies of' which are incorporated herein as if set out in full at this point, are hereby
approved and adopted-
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that three (N) certified copies of this resolution be filed with
said mar and report in the office of the Department of Public Works, State of California, through the
Dixtribt Office of the Division of Highways.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda hereby petitions the
California Highway Commission to approve the aforementioned map and report.
