STORM SEWERS ON CLINTON AVENUE AT CHESTNUT, LAFAYETTE AND
UNION STREETS, CALIaNC, FOR. BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY_ CLERK
TO ADVERILTE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Enginber has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
storm sewers on Clinton Avenue at Chestnut, Lafayette and Union Streets, No, 9. 1-69-1, and filbd
in the office of the City Clerk on January- 21, 1069;
NOW THEREFORE, TE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' AINNEDA that the said Specifis-
cations, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and t same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE it bURTEER BESOLVED 131 thb performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specificatiens and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTIIID. RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed. bids up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 1969, for furnisaing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary- for the work bereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said Specifirations and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in
the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, fRr000sal
of Storm Sewers an Clinton Avenue at Chestnut, Lafayette and Union Streets," or sindiar designation_
Contract, if akamded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Chanter of the City
of Alameda, to the renpussilole bidder who submits tht lowest and best bid. the right is reserved to
reject any or al] bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by- any- prospective bidder on applioatdon to
the City Engineer, at hi3 office in the City- HallAlameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby ddreoted to advertise, in the Alameda times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealud bids, in accordance with the provisions of' this resolution and of said Specifications
and. Provinions.
