SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ON DETTRAL PLAN
AND DIFFUTINO RUBRICATION OF NOTICE GHEREOF
HEREAS, pursuant to written agreement with tne- City therefor, the firm of
Daniel, Mann,' Tohnso, 9 Mendenhall, has prepared and. submittRd to the Planning Board a
comprehensive, long-term general. plan for tne physical developmnt of the City, which
plan is in printed. mnd bound. form entitled, "Comprehensive General. Plan - 19.90 For
Alameda, CalifemniaT; and
WHEREAS, after notice duly given, the Planning 'Boa0 d. hold public bearings to
consider the adoption of said. plan, and. by its Resolutitn No. 639, adopted. February 3,
1969, the Board approved. said plan and recommDrded its adoption by the City as its general
lan, all pursuant to. Sections 65350 and following, Government Coda of California; and
WHEREAS, this Cmuncil lo' received said plan and. hbfore cons:IT:bring Its a'opt' on
in whole or in part, intends to conduct a public hearing thereon;

part, By the City as its general plan, is hereby scheduled for public hearing before this

in the Council Chatham; said nearing may be continued from time to time.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City clerk shall. cause to 5 publiahed once
in the Alameda Times-eStar, a newspaper of general. publication, at least ten (10) days
prior to the date of said hearing, a notice in substantially the follpwing form:
"NOTICE OF PUERTO BEARING ON PROPOSED
CITY GRUERAL PLAN
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council pf the City of
Alameda will conduct 9 puhlit hearing on the question of whether
that certain document prepared by the firm of Daniel, Mann,
Johnson, 3. Mendenhall and entitled, "Comprehensive General Plan -
1990 For Alameda, California," should be adopted in whole or in
part as a comprehensive, long-term general plan for the physical
development cf the City, as prescribed by Sections 65300 and
following, Government Code of California.
Said hearing will be held in the Council Chambers, located
in City Hall, Santa Clara and Oak Streets, Alameda, California,
at a regular meeting of said Council beginning et 7:30 o'clock
Tuesday, March 16, 1969, and may he continued from time
to time.
A copy of said plan is available in the office of tho
Planning Director, located in Room 315 of said City Hell.
