ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND

WASH:INGTON PABB., CALLING FOR KDS AND DIRELTING

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared. Specifications, Special Provisions
and Flaps for the replacement of a high chain link fence on the west side of Washington
Park, No. PW 4-69-7, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 1, 1969:
NO THEREFORE, BE LB RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF YHE CITY CP ALAMEDA. that the
said Specifications, Special Provisions and. Blame, be, and thp same are hereby approved
and adopted,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance a'3 d. completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be and. the same is hereby authhrizad.
BE 17 FURTHET: RESOLVED that the Council of the City. of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 1Jh3O o'clock a. m. on FRIDAY, APRIL 25, 1969, for fornish-
ing to the Cliay of all labor, materials, machinery, toolb and equipment nmsessary for
the work hmreinabove referred to, in accordance with said SpeciTications and. Provisions.
Li dm must be presented to the City Clerk4 in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly• ma33 ked. on the outside, "Proposal for Replacement of Chain Link
Fence at Washington Park," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter
of the City of AIssaida, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
Tho right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifibations and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on
application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California
The City Clerk is hureby directed to ahhertise, in the AlAmeda kimes-SLar, a
notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of thAs resoihtion
and of said SpecificatIons and Provisions.
