FOR. BIDS AND DIRECTING- CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SANE.
WHEREAS, there have been prepared S ecifications, Special. Provisions and Plans for a,
central equipment '0 '1 garage on Grand Street, No. PW 5-69-9, and filEd in the office of the
City Clerk on. june 3, 1969;
HOOT THEREFORE, Bh TT RESOLVED BY TEE 15 15' Oh' TDB CITY OF ALLKEDA that the said
pecifications, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same arc horoeg approved and adopted.
HE IT FM= RESOLVED that the performance and completion. of the work specified in
said Specifications and Provisions be and the sane is hereby- authorized.
GE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the Gity of Alameda will receiwe sealed bibs
ep to the hoar of 11:00 c,clock a.m. on THURSDAY, jULY 3, 1969, for furnishing to the CiEy of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equiptent necessary for the work hereinabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids mast be presented to the City Clbrk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California,, under sealed cover and plainly marked on. the outside,
roposal for a Central. Equipment Repair Garage on Grand Streest, or similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, aMil be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is

Said Specifecations and Provisions may be had (1, any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, AlaTteda, California.
The City- Clerk is hereby- directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notiee
calling for sealed bids, in. accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.
