NOW THEREFORE, BE IT BESOINED BY THE COUNCIL GE THE CITY OF :ALAMEDA that the said
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
PE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the performance and completion. of the work specified in
said Spocifications and Provisiens be and the same is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED thmt the Council of the City of Alameda. will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, EdNE 20, 1969, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work herein' red to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bide must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda California, under sealed covbr and plainEy marked on the outside,
EFroposal for Repair and Besurfamin of Grand Street, Encinal Avenue to the Bridge," or similar
designation_
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
reaerved to reject any or all. bids.
Said Specifications and Provons may- be had by any prospective bidder on application.

The City- Clerk, is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifioatiens and Provisions.
