APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE EUDGET OF TIE CITM OF
AIAMEDA FOR, THE FISCAL YEAR 196G-.1.970
WIEREAD, there has been submitted to and filed with this Council a tentatiae budget
representing a fihannial plan. for conduotihg the affairs of the City of Mlameda for the fiscal.
year 196D-1970, said budget being entdtled, BReconmended Tbeiget--City of Alameda--Oalifornia--
1969-70,', and being filed with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda as of June 17, 1069; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda has fully examined said tentative budget
and hereby finds that said tentative financial plan, as amended, is i'7 best interests of the
City of Alameda;
OW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOINED BY T1 ' AE7 A that said. Council
hereby adopts and 14 14 said. tentative budget in the amount. of $6,715,200, subject to finaJ
adpption and approval not later than the third Tuesday- in September, 1969, as reduEred by
Section 17-4 of the Charter of the City of Alameda.
SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City- Manager of the CdMy of 71,, ,c1 and the Auditor of
said City are hereby authorized and directed to follow the precepts of the saiti tentative budget
in the interim period prior to adoption and approval of the final budget for the fiscal year
1969-1970 by this Council in Septemher, 1969.
