AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF' AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY AND JACK CUMMINGS
GRANTING, I:THEME TO FURNISH GOLF PROPFSSIONI AND STABJED OPERATIONS
SERVICES AT PaR AIMMEDA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSES
WHEREAS, pursuant to madod-Msadcm of' Resolutimn No. 7W 1B, adopted by this Council on
December 17, 1968, there emibts a wgittbn contmact between the City- and Jack Cummings, wherein
the latter was designated "Golf Professional" at the Alameda Municipal Golf Courses and under
which he undertook to provide, and, has been satiofact rily providing, services incident, thmrete;
and
HEREAS, it is now mutually desirable and in the public interest that a new agreement
be substituted therefor, by- which said Professional agrees to perform certain other duties at,
said Courses, consisting of player autivity and starter functions which have heretofore been
performed by City- 1' 'u and
WHEPEAU, a form of agreement relating to the rights duties and liabilities of the
Professional. at aaid Courses has been filed in the office of the City Clark and marked 'Tiled,
July a, 1969,', and the Council is informed of the terms and conditions thereof;
THEBEFORE, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor and
City Clerk be, and each hereby- is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to, respectively,
for and on behalf of the City, that certain agreement ('131 41 referred to, which in designated,
°Agreement Granting License to Furnimh Golf Professional and Other Services at Alameda Municipal.
Golf Courses," and which relates to the rights and dutias between the City. and Jack Cummings.
I, the undersigned,hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duky and rag:laxly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City- of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
lst day- of july, 1969, by the followihg vote, to wit:
