WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specificatipns, Provieions and Plans for
the construction of 1 storm sewer along the west side of' Webster Street in the vicinity of Tynan
Ayenne, No. 111 8-68-16, and filwd In the office of the City Clerk on August 19, i969;
NOW INFTEETTE, BE IT BEBOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said Specifi-
cations, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FEEDER. RESOLVES that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specificatihns and Provisions be and. the am hereby authorined.
1 II' FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will. receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o,clock a.m. on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 1.W69, for furnishing to the City of' all
labor, materials, machinery, too:LE and eouipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred. to, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City gala, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Construction. of' Storm Sewer Interconnection on Wnbster Street near Tynan Avenue," or similar designa-
tion.
Contract, 1 awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsibln bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said SsecifIcatipne and Provisfsne may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his o'd'e in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provigions of thaw resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly' and regularLy
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
iSth day of August, 1.969, by the following vote, to wit:
