WHEREAS, there has been submitted to and filed with this Council, at this meeting, a. budget
representing a financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year
beginning July I, 1969 and ending June 30, 19660 which budget ie marked 'Filed kith the City Clbrk
open meeting ot' the City Council, September 16, 1969";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE cm OF ALAMEDA that said budget as
submittrad to this Council at this meeting, 2nd each and every part thereof, be, and the same is hereby,
approved and adopted as the budget for the City of Alameda for the fiscal year 1969-1970, and that the
expenditures of the varioue sums of money therein provided to be spent for salaries and wages, mainte-
nance and operation, and capital. salary, by each department as therein listed in detail, are hereby
approved and authorized in total, by- the above object cdassiTication, as the appropriations for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1970.
FE IT ROMER RESCIRTM that therb be, and are herehya appropriated for the fiscal year
969-1970, the specified sums for the purpose of meeting the cost of salaries and wages paid officers
and employees, the cost of maintenance, operation, and for equi-Tment and other capital outlay of the
respective departments, divisions, offices and boards of the City, and for ail other purposes designated
in said budget for the respective purposes of the said departments, divisions, offices and boards of the
Citya and for such special funds and other purposes dosignatod in said budget; and
BE IT FUR= TESOLVED that all of the appropriations herein 30 ,Jo for are made out of the
General. Eund for the fiscal year 1969-1970, except those made to or for purposes for which special funds
aro established, and as tm such last mentioned purposea ambd appropriations are made out of the special
funds respectively established therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such expenditures as may have been Dade by the several departments,
divisions, offices and boards of the City after the beginrihg of the fiscal year 1969-1970 and prior to
the adoption of this resolution, and nave been or may be duly approved by the City Auditor, are hdreby
ratified, confirmed and approved, and shall be respectively charged against the appropriations heroin
and in said budget provided for.
