TAUENRAG, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions ana Plans for
the construction of a storm sewer running from Clinton Avenue to the Lagoon along Oak Street, No.
PW 10-6D-17, and filod in the office of the City- Clerk cn October 21, 1969;
NOW THEREFORE, BE Il RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said Specific
catiens, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BR IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the pemfonnance and completion of the worh specified in said
Specificatiend and Provisions be and the same id hereby authoriced.
BE TT FUREPEME RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed. bids up
to the hour of 11:00 b,clock a.m. on FRIDAY, NOVEMPER 7, 1969, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials machinery, tools and equipment necesoary- for the work hereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids mnst be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly narked on the outside, "Proposal for
Construction of the Clinton Avenue Storm Sewer at Oak Street," or similar designation,
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded. subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid, The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Sbecificatibns and Provisions may be had by any prospectiva bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at hie office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advettiee, 1 the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
or sealed bids, in accordance mdth the previsions of thie resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions..

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regalar meeting assembled on the
